At Southcoast Digestive Diseases Centre, emphasis on the quality of endoscopic and consultative services remain paramount yet we remain the least expensive endoscopic service to access on the coast. Patients with full health insurance do not have any out of pocket expenses.

We have a barrage of tests such as faecal occult blood (FOB), faecal DNA,
flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy and virtual CT colonography (CTC) to address the possibility of significant colorectal neoplasia. Where do these tests fit and when should these be used individually or in combination? Before we can address this question, we need to understand the demographics of CRC.

We provide our patients in Gold Coast innovative tertiary care for the management of complex gastrointestinal and liver diseases. Our gastroenterology group offers a broad range of endoscopic procedures using state-of-the-art technology.
Our services do not end after the provision of endoscopy. Where indicated inpatient direct management of patients are undertaken, at the request of the general practioner, at the private hospitals.
